Haxby Memorial Hall is centrally located in Haxby at 16, The Village, and is within walking distance from most properties in Haxby and Wigginton.
You can easily get to the Hall
by Public Transport:
The numbers 1 and 12 buses leave from outside York railway station and stop in Haxby, close to the hall.
The number 1 bus also stops in York opposite the Theatre Royal on St Leonard’s Place. The number 12 bus has stops in York on Rougier Street and at The Stonebow.
The bus ride from York to Haxby takes approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
Haxby does not have a railway station.
by Car:
Leave the A1237 (northern ring road) at the roundabout signposted Haxby, and turn onto York Road.
Continue along York Road, straight across the mini roundabout, until you reach the large roundabout where you turn left into The Village.
The Memorial Hall is on your right, opposite Ryedale Court shops. The hall car park is accessible by turning right just before the pedestrian crossing.
